The Art of PEACE

ABJ Center of the Arts serves as a vanguard for peace. The organization’s theme song is “Peace Didn’t Stop We Did” (let’s build the peace again), a collaboration between Pastor Victoria, ABJ Millennial Tribe members Kevin Tyler and Mathis Prunty, co-writer of lyrics Jennifer Kim of The Peace School.

ABJ holds inter-generational peace circles rooted in African culture as a means to connect, converse and resolve conflicts within neighborhoods and between Chicago Police and the Black Community.

Having written and produced several music CDs and plays, ABJ youth and members use their powerful, compelling and undeniable voices to bring peace and harmony into the community.

“Peace Didn’t Stop, We Did So Let’s Get the Peace Again” – Hey Chicago!
